Galeon 570 Sky Wins World Yachts Trophies 2026 Award
A flybridge adds space, visibility and a second helm. It also adds height, and with it the bulk that separates a cruising yacht from a sports one. Our Galeon 570 SKY refuses the trade-off, and on 12 September in Cannes that refusal won it Best Innovation at the World Yachts Trophies, the studio’s third Innovation Award in four years.
THE HELM THAT DISAPPEARS
The newest model in Galeon’s Skydeck line, our 570 SKY conceals its upper helm entirely. An electrically folding centre console with dedicated driver and passenger seats deploys when needed and disappears when it is not, so the coupé silhouette stays uninterrupted whether the yacht is under way or at anchor. The upper helm can also be driven standing.
The main deck keeps the same open character. A large opening sunroof sits above the lower helm, and a side door beside the skipper gives direct access to the side deck for docking. Integrated wind tunnels manage the air moving around the superstructure and reduce crosswind through the cockpit.
A PLATFORM ON THE WATER
The optional Beach Mode package folds balconies out on both sides, widening the yacht by more than two metres into a leisure platform just above the water. Sliding side windows and a convertible bar in the portside galley open the interior through to the cockpit and swim platform.
The aft section can be arranged three ways, including a single-berth skipper cabin or the Carousel Mode package, which adds a hydraulically opening tender garage, a rotating aft seat and a convertible table. Forward, a sofa and wide sunpads create a second outdoor lounge.
